Then SUCCESS!

So a long time ago we ordered some dinning room chairs, and when they came the directions to put them together were in horrible English. We laughed so hard because it went a little something like this,...FIRST SCREW TO TIGHTEN, and at the end it said THEN SUCCESS! So we often say THEN SUCCESS when something is done. Anyway last night the head member of our family decided to re-live his college years by camping outside of Buffalo Wild Wings. If you don't know about Buffalo Wild Wings, it is a sports bar that specializes in WINGS go figure. Anyway every time they open a new location the first 100 people through the door on opening day get a coupon book good for 6 free wings every week for a year. People camp out to be sure that they are there when they open. And one of the 100 was our very own Matt Davis. So we (or shall I say he)will enjoy 6 wings every week for the next year. :)Here are some pictures of his adventure.

Our 3 month old Lady Bug

If a lady bug's spots stood for months of life, this little Lady bug would have 3 spots! Yup our little lady bug turned 3 months old yesterday. She is such a JOY. She smiles all the time, and usually if she is fussy at all it simply means she is tired. She loves her daddy, and her brother, her poor mom has to act like a total idiot in order to get a smile! We have been so blessed by this beautiful little girl!!

BUSY!

It has been a very busy couple of weeks for the Davis family. Here are some of the highlights from the last couple of weeks...

Ty was given another award at school today...his THIRD one! We are so proud of how hard he works in school! (it was also spirit week, and today was pajama day) The teacher says that he is keeping her on her toes. He has a fantastic teacher this year I am really happy with her!

I was able to flex my baking muscles by helping out a friend and making her wedding cake...here is what came of that creativity.....It was fun to do, but I think I am going to have to go into retirement of cake baking until I am done with school.

Lyla is getting so big! She is actually much more chubby than Ty ever was. It's pretty funny. She is a super happy baby! She thinks Ty is the coolest thing on earth! She watches his every move and he can almost always make her smile. Here are some pictures of them playing he was kissing her feet and she thought that was pretty funny...

She makes us smile so much! And I am so proud of Ty and how he is with her, you can often hear him saying to her "Hi Beautiful Face" or this morning he said "Hi princess" He is so sweet with her! And if I have to get stuff done I can lay her in the living room and he will lay with her and talk to her. He is such a GREAT big brother!!
