When you fall

Last night we were driving in the car to the mall and Matt and I were talking, I don't even remember now what we were talking about but Ty interrupted us and said "hey guys" Matt said "What Buddy" and Ty said "If you guys fall I will be there to lift you up"

Because he caught us so off guard with this sweet sentiment, we really were not sure what to say other than to respond that we would always do the same for him. He is such a funny kid! Where he comes up with this stuff I do not know...

Can't tell he has grown up in a church setting can you? That is our little preacher man...maybe he will be a Rev. like his Papa.

Fun In the Snow

Ty's Cousin Mathew

My nephew Mathew lives with his mom and her family, and I have tried to keep in contact with him, but with the distance it is hard. I have had a little contact with Mathew for the last couple of years and I have visited him when I am home. But Ty has not gotten to meet Mathew. On this visit to Colorado he got to meet Mathew for the first time, he thought that he was very cool and has talked about him a lot since we got home.

The boys made snow globes together and then we all constructed a gingerbread house

It was a wonderful visit with Mathew and I am so thankful that Ty will have the opportunity to know his cousin.

A Colorado Christmas

We spent Christmas in Colorado this year, and my family goes crazy on Christmas Eve, all of my aunts and uncles live within 30 min of my Grandma Helen's house, so they all get together at Grandma's for Christmas Eve. We have a small dinner and then go crazy opening up presents. This is what the tree looks like before it all begins, and that is not the 1/2 of it these presents extend all the way out to the left of this picture.

And this is what me and my cousins have to say about that!.... This is my cousins, Victoria, Marshall and Me doing the family thumbs up!

Then Ty woke up Christmas morning to find that Santa had found him and Grammie Helen's house!

And we discovered that we were going to have a White Christmas... Hopefully our flight won't be delayed we are supposed to leave today.

This is the whole Rosales Fam that was there!

Can I get a thumbs up?

Sing it on the Wii

Let the Christmas games begin! Grammie Helen decided to give Ty his present early so that she would get a chance to watch him play with it before we head back to California...I think it was worth giving it to him early watch as he sings along to High School Musical on the Wii...

Fire Truck Comes to Preschool

We had the great pleasure of the Daly City Fire Department bringing a Engine to our Preschool. They were very nice and told the kids all about what to do in case of a fire. Here are the pictures of our very own Ty Davis in his motorcycle jacket standing by the fire truck.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

So you probably already know by now that my favorite designer is Juicy Couture! Well since our budget doesn't exactly allow me to go crazy at the Juicy store. I get a little excited when I get something new!

My Dad sent gift cards for Christmas, and it turned out to be the most wonderful thing! Matt said that I could use my portion to get a new purse!!!!!!!!!!!!! Isn't he a good husband! But we turned it into this really fun night. We got a sitter, and took the bart train (our subway) to downtown San Francisco. Went to the Juicy store and Bloomingdale's then shopped at some other stores, but who cares about those. We had dinner in the Westfield shopping center. (Which in San Francisco is like going to a fancy restaurant) Some quality time with my husband and time at the Juicy store who could ask for anything more! Merry Christmas to ME!!! Thanks Dad!

Ty's New Wheels

Merry Christmas early from Grammie! Ty had his eye on this new, very cool luggage. And so she sent the money to get him it before he travels to Colorado on the 19th. We purchased it at the Disney Store and then stuck it on the front porch with a note on it (To: Ty, From: Grammie)
He knows how to read...Yes that is right my 4 year old is reading!
So he shouted "It's for me!" It says "To Ty, From Grammie. It's for me!"
And now he has discovered that it fits LOTS of his toys!

I think he likes it! :) Thanks Grammie!

Our $18 Christmas Tree

Because we are traveling to Colorado this year for Christmas, I wanted to get us a cheap little fake tree...Neither of like fake trees...I hate them and Matt hates them even more than I do, but when you are going to be gone, it is hard to get a real one. So I came across an 6' tree at Big Lots for $18. (Did I mention that I love big lots?) Anyway Ty went with me to buy it and when we got it home and took it out of the box he looked at it with this disgusted look and said, "it just looks like a desert cactus?" So I told him we have to fluff out all the branches...So I started putting it together and fluffing it and he said, "This is going to be a good Christmas, but I just don't like the tree"

Anyway It cleans up pretty nice and, he likes it now that I told him after this year you can have it in your bedroom...Now since it is HIS, it is a GREAT tree.
