I LOVE COUPONS!

So as you all know, I have become coupon crazy! Since I have started using coupons it has made such a difference for us. I have been able to cut our monthly budget in half. Well this weekend was such a great weekend for coupons! First of all Joye and I got to shop with one of our coupon idols :), A Thrifty Mom. We ran into her while at a different Albertson's in Caldwell, ID. She is this wonderful down to earth mama, who runs a blog all about couponing to help others. Her blog is http://www.athriftymom.com/ It was so fun, like running into a celebrity for us. We have taken her class and we follow her blog probably on a daily basis. Anyway it was pretty cool for us to run into her and talk with her. Today was a great day for couponing too. I was able to get out early this morning and score some great deals.

I was able to get everything that you see here for $19...That is 9lbs of Chicken, 1lb ground beef, 2 Gillette razors, 2 packs of paper plates, 2 jugs of Arizona Tea, Shampoo and conditioner, Milk, 2 boxes of granola bars, and some Yoplait delights yogurt. With out coupons it would have cost me $58...So now you know why

2 MONTHS OLD!

THE LYLA BUG IS OFFICIALLY 2 MONTHS OLD!

I have to say that she has added such a bright light to our life. She is smiling like crazy especially at daddy, apparently someone told her about the whole wrapping daddy around your finger. She is also starting to talk, she is trying so hard at least. It is fun to watch these new found revelations. Here is a really cute picture of her smiling at Daddy when he got home from work.

She is figuring out the fat thing too. She is now 10lbs 3 oz. She is getting a little more Rollie pollie but she is still pretty small. Here is a picture of her at her 2 month check up at the Dr's office.

She has such a personality for such a little girl. The Dr was moving around trying to get her to follow him with her eyes and she watched him, but gave him a dirty look like why the heck do you keep moving around. Also when we swaddle her for bed she often figures out a way to wiggle her arms out. Today I wrapped her all up and put her in her crib. When I went up to check on her I found her like this....

I think there is not another fitting label for this picture other than Damn the Man! Put her to bed all wrapped up and find her completely unwrapped. She speaks her mind already. We are excited to see where she takes us in the coming months.

Pajama Party

So today the kids have no school so they will be here with me all day. Ty had a brilliant idea to have a pajama party today. So today they all came in their P.J.s and brought their sleeping bags. Right now they are all on the living room floor watching Willy Wonka eating popcorn. I think they are having a good time.

When I picked her up from there she got upset. She is such a little party animal.

Maybe if I sit real still it will go away!....

Who needs TOYS??

So I got a smokin' deal on poptarts recently! I bought 10 boxes for 4.90 and was able to then submit a rebate for $10...So I actually got paid for them. Well it was great becuase you all know how much Ty loves poptarts. So anyway I stuck them in the pantry and Matt and I keep opening the pantry and finding them arranged in different paterns. Today I opened the pantry today and found them like this.

I guess it is payback, recently I gave Joaquin and Aja crap about their little girl playing with empty food boxes, and here I find mine playing with full food boxes.

Lego Land

We have our very own Lego Land! Yes the new extra bedroom has been turned into Lego Land, but I am not complaining! The kids disappear into that room after school and I do not see them until their mothers pick them up. They have created their own town they each have a house, and when I was asking them to move the Lego's so that I could at least shut the door, we had to relocate someones swimming pool in order to shut the door. They are too funny, but at least they have good taste. It was a sweet swimming pool!

Our other child has a new talent! SMILES, and I must say they are the most beautiful smiles EVER!! She really smiles for me, so today I was able to snap a shot of her smiling with my phone.

She is a very happy baby!
