Smarty Pants Does it again!

Ty school has this thing called "Positive People" it is an award ceremony that they do once each quarter. As most of you know back in October Ty was awarded with a Positive people award from his kindergarten teacher. Well today he was awarded with another one from the first grade teacher that he spends half his day with. Pretty amazing for one kid to be awarded in 2 of the four quarters of the school year! Although he has an advantage having two teachers we know he is working hard to earn these kudos all on his own!

His award says:
Ty has been selected as a positive person for being an excellent reader! We have enjoyed having Ty in our class. He has inspired and amazed many of my students with his excellent reading skills. We always enjoy listening to him read. Keep up the fantastic work, Ty!

I thought you guys might also like a picture of Ty and Daddy in their Mudcats gear! This is Ty's T-ball team that Matt is helping to coach! They are both having a wonderful time playing! And we have been blessed with a great team of both kids and parents! Our head coach Rick is awesome with the kids!

Not to be out done by her older brother, Lyla is kicking and moving just as much as Ty did if not more! We are still set on her joining us on July 29th. And we are getting ready to put together her room. We are so excited about painting and getting it all set up for our baby girl. Grammie Norma is coming this weekend to help get that ball rolling. But little does she know that we are going to drag her around to one sporting event after another, since that is what life consists of right now. We have our final 2 soccer games this weekend! Matt has joined a softball team and ...wait for it....A bowling leauge! Yup that is right a bowling leauge! So with all of that we litterally have a sporting event every night of the week. I just get to put my feet up sit back and enjoy the show at each event. We are having lots of fun with it all.
